The beauty of dupion silk lies in its complex weaving technique – a fine warp against an uneven weft, the latter often being reeled from two different cocoons. The resulting finish is crisp and lustrous, of which this bedspread is a fine example. Handpicked from the looms of Banaras, it is made up of patch worked fabrics of multiple pastels.
